AIMS International Malta is thrilled to be working with a Corporate Bank looking to grow their Risk Team by hiring a Risk Management Analyst. The successful candidate will report to the Risk Supervisor and be responsible for the monitoring and mitigation of mainly credit and liquidity risks. 

Responsibilities:
  • Provide analytical reporting, conduct credit business reviews, and monitor risk limits according to the Bank’s risk management framework.
  • Assist in implementing and overseeing risk management policies and procedures.
  • Prepare credit assessments for new and existing facilities, including financial analyses and risk recommendations.
  • Analyze financial reports and business plans to support new business portfolio development.
  • Ensure new credit facility requests align with the Bank's risk appetite.
  • Stay updated on and analyze market-based and industry-specific information and developments.
  • Assist in monitoring the Bank’s investment portfolio.
  • Support the completion of periodic risk management reports.
  • Handle ad hoc requests from Senior Management and external stakeholders.
  • Track changes in the credit ratings of the Bank’s risk exposures.
  • Support the risk team in meeting regulatory risk management requirements.
  • Assist in updating and compiling risk management policies, procedures, and documentation for effective risk governance.
  • Stay informed on the Bank’s significant risks.
  • Keep up to date with relevant banking and risk-related regulations.
  • Assist in monitoring ICT and security risk management controls. 
Responsibilities:
  • Professional qualification in Banking, Finance, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar or related role.
  • Prior experience in banking or related roles is advantageous.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in MS Excel.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken business English and Maltese.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • High integrity and professional ethics.
  • Knowledge of ICT and security risk management controls is a plus.
