Responsibilities
• Advise private clients on investment migration programs, residency, citizenship, due diligence, and relocation to Malta.
• Handle document registration at the Malta Public Registry, CFR, Identita’, and other relevant departments.
• Draft legal memos and supporting documentation.
• Assist clients with applications for residence permits, visas, work permits, and citizenship.
• Maintain ongoing client communication, keeping them informed of application progress and regulatory updates.
• Stay updated on local and international immigration laws and advise clients accordingly.
• Support clients in appeal submissions and responses to immigration authority inquiries.
• Assist in internal training sessions on immigration law updates for colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Liaise with local immigration and tax authorities on behalf of clients.
• Contribute to content creation, including articles, publications, and updates on immigration matters.
• Provide guidance on obtaining various licenses in Malta.
• Draft and review legal agreements, including employment contracts, service agreements, shareholder agreements, and lease agreements, ensuring compliance with Maltese and EU legal frameworks.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide holistic legal services.
Requirements:
• Fully qualified lawyer with a Maltese warrant.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Immigration Law.
• Strong knowledge and interest in Immigration Law.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Maltese.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite.
• Proactive mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
