Our client that operates within the public sector, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Officer within their Strategy and Quality Assurance department.

Responsibilities:
  • Engaging with all company sections to support and implement the organization's strategic initiatives.
  • Keeping the company’s strategy document updated in line with internal and external developments.
  • Conducting Quality Assurance (QA) reviews of company’s policies, procedures, and operations in line with the annual QA plans and procedures.
  • Assisting in drafting test plans that outline scope, objectives, and methodologies for QA assessments.
  • Documenting QA findings with clear observations, evidence, and actionable recommendations for operational improvements.
  • Following up on the implementation of agreed recommendations to ensure timely and effective corrective measures.
  • Supporting the continued development and implementation of the company’s Risk Management Framework.
  • Participating in local and international conferences, seminars, workshops, and internal committees to stay updated on AML/CFT legislative and institutional developments.
  • Providing ad hoc support in evaluations and assessments conducted by the EU, Egmont, MONEYVAL, FATF, and other relevant bodies.

Requirements:
  • MQF Level 6 qualification in a relevant subject and at least 4 years of relevant experience in AML/CFT, ideally within the financial services sector.
  • OR MQF Level 5 qualification in a relevant subject and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Preference for candidates with audit or quality assurance experience.
  • Demonstrated competence, efficiency, and diligence in previous roles.
  • Strong analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including proficiency in report writing and presentations.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of leading tasks or projects independently with minimal supervision.
