Responsibilities:
- Chair Board meetings and ensure effective governance in accordance with Maltese regulations.
- Provide strategic guidance on navigating the Maltese regulatory landscape, including licensing and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with the management team to set and review strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Offer constructive challenge and support to the executive team on key decisions and initiatives.
- Leverage your network in the Maltese financial services industry to connect the company with potential customers, partners, and investors.
- Fulfill fiduciary and legal duties as a company director, upholding the highest standards of corporate governance.
- 8+ years of experience in the Financial Services sector.
- At least 3 years of prior experience as a member of a Board of Directors.
- Deep understanding of corporate governance principles and best practices within the Maltese regulatory framework.
- Strong understanding of financial management, risk mitigation, and compliance requirements.
- Resident of Malta.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
