Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of various industries, identifying and applying key performance indicators to analyze and address client needs effectively.
- Leads the team in executing diverse corporate finance assignments, including company valuations, IFRS reporting, feasibility studies, and financial due diligence. Develops comprehensive financial models encompassing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Provides hands-on training, coaching, and continuous feedback to junior staff, and is recognized as an expert in the application of IFRS, especially new standards, serving as a key technical resource for peers and subordinates.
- Proactively identifies and resolves technical and risk management issues, offering solutions and escalating matters when necessary. Mitigates risk through reviews and the involvement of senior management.
- Manages entire projects from initiation to completion, including issuing engagement letters, conducting know-your-client (KYC) procedures, developing financial models, drafting reports, invoicing, and debtor follow-ups. Successfully oversees multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are on time and within budget.
- Mentors, manages, and evaluates team members, setting clear timelines and key performance indicators. Plays a key role in developing and implementing departmental strategies.
- ACCA qualification or a Degree in Accountancy.
- 6 years of experience in a similar role, with managerial experience and deep technical expertise.
