Our client, a well-established investment firm in Malta, is looking to expand their team with the addition of a Claims Processing Support Assistant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a well-established firm and contribute to its continued success.
Responsibilities:
- Manage claims related to general insurance policies from initiation through to settlement and recoveries.
- Provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders and ensure accurate claims processing throughout their lifecycle.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the brand and reputation.
- Follow the claims manual and standard processes when adjusting claims in accordance with policy intent.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail with the ability to ensure accuracy in claims entry, payments, and record updates.
- Basic accounting skills to handle statement reconciliations and process claim payments accurately.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook for data management and communication.
- Strong analytical thinking skills to identify recovery opportunities and carefully review claims information.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with brokers and insurers and escalate issues when needed.
- Relevant certifications, such as Cert CII (Certificate in Insurance), finance-related courses, or an Introduction to Insurance Claims qualification, are an added advantage.
