AIMS International Malta is thrilled to be assisting our client in finding a suitable candidate to join their ever-growing team. They are currently in the market for an Assistant manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Include demonstrating a strong understanding of various industries and identifying relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) for each sector. This involves applying those KPIs to thoroughly assess and analyze clients' needs, while also fostering and maintaining robust client relationships.
  • The individual handles corporate finance assignments with minimal supervision, including company valuations, IFRS reporting, and financial due diligence. Responsibilities also include developing comprehensive financial models incorporating income statements, statements of financial position, and cash flow projections.
  • Additionally, the role involves providing on-the-job training, coaching, and continuous feedback to junior team members. The individual is recognized for their expertise in IFRS, particularly in applying new standards, and serves as a go-to resource for peers and subordinates on technical matters.
  • They demonstrate a deep understanding of technical challenges during assignments, offering solutions and seeking guidance when necessary. The role also entails identifying and resolving risk management issues, while leveraging senior expertise when needed to mitigate risks.
  • From initiation to completion, the individual manages entire processes, including issuing engagement letters, performing know-your-client (KYC) procedures, building financial models, drafting reports, issuing invoices, and following up with debtors. The individual successfully manages multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • In addition, they play a critical role in business development and client acquisition, while developing and implementing innovative strategies to address client challenges. Collaboration with senior leadership on strategic initiatives within the department is also a key responsibility.
Requirements:
  • ACCA qualification or a Degree in Accountancy.
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management abilities.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with a successful track record in client engagements.
