Responsibilities:
- Help senior management develop plans of execution for the department regarding relevant implementing functions and procedures.
- Liaise with risk management to develop and implement risk-based strategies related to the monitoring of subject persons.
- Monitor multiple entities within a variety of industries in financial services to ensure company procedures and policies are followed.
- Monitor, manage and review the team's progress and quality of work, and identify any discrepancies operationally to ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures, and compliance best practice. Offer guidance where applicable to ensure best conduct and performance on various projects.
- Assist relevant authorities and regulatory bodies as will be required.
- A minimum bachelors degree in a relevant subject (Law or within the Financial Services).
- 5 - 6 years of relevant experience.
- High level of knowledge and understanding of the laws that govern AML/CFT locally, and a sound knowledge of related EU standards and directives.
