AIMS International Malta is excited to be representing our client, a Public Entity, who are looking to hire an AML Associate to join their Supervision team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and conduct compliance examinations for the purpose of identifying subject persons adherence to AML/CFT obligations. Once completed, prepare the relevant reports.
- Provide guidance and training on necessary steps to ensure the use of AML/CFT structures and compliance frameworks.
- Oversee the implementation of the necessary AML/CFT internal amendments carried out by subject persons.
- Liaise with the risk team to ensure risk assessments and verification procedures are carried out.
- Assist relevant authorities and regulatory bodies as will be needed.
- A tertiary level education in a relevant subject area. (MQF Level 6)
- Any additional qualifications or experience in financial industries will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of the AML/CFT frameworks in Malta and the EU.
- Fluency in the English language written and spoken is a prerequisite.
