AIMS International Malta is assisting an Insurance Management Company that is looking to hire an Accounts Executive to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Posting of transactions in the accounting system.
- Preparing bank payments and reconciliations.
- Preparing management accounts and financial statements.
- Preparing Tax, VAT and regulatory Returns.
- Managing matters relating to regulatory authorities and Actuaries.
- Managing client queries.
- In the process of obtaining an ACCA qualification, having passed at least the first five modules. Candidates who hold a University Degree in accounting and are pursuing an ACCA qualification will also be considered.
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar role. Candidates with previous experience in insurance will be given preference.
- Highly organised individual with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- Previous experience in a similar role will be considered an asset.
