Our client, a leading company in the construction and finishing's sector, is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their team, reporting directly to the Directors.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed management accounts.
- Execute month-end closing procedures and ensure timely completion.
- Record and post journal entries accurately.
- Process supplier payments and manage accounts payable.
- Calculate and submit VAT returns accurately.
- Assist and liaise with external auditors.
- Support in the developing and refining of finance-related procedures and policies.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
- Identify and recommend improvements to streamline financial processes.
- Provide monthly financial reports and analysis as requested by the Directors.
- Support in budgeting, forecasting, and other strategic financial planning activities.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting or ACCA qualified.
- A minimum of 3 years local experience in Accounting or Auditing.
- Previous experience with a Big 4 audit firm would be considered a strong asset.
