AIMS International Malta is pleased to support our client in an exciting opportunity to fill a Payroll Assistant position within their finance team. The selected candidate will report directly to the Director of the Marine & Aviation Department.
Responsibilities:- Accurately process payroll for multiple clients, ensuring timeliness and precision.
- Calculate and apply necessary deductions, including taxes, social security, and other withholdings.
- Guarantee full compliance with local tax laws and social security requirements.
- Manage and update employee payroll information within payroll software.
- Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions, addressing discrepancies quickly and effectively.
- Respond to client inquiries, resolving payroll-related issues with efficiency and professionalism.
- Generate and provide comprehensive payroll reports for clients as needed.

- Proficient in payroll software and similar platforms.
- Understanding of federal and state employment laws relevant to payroll and deductions.
- Payroll certifications, such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), are an asset.
