Responsibilities:
- Conducting reviews of accounting, VAT returns, and tax returns.
- Supervising and overseeing the team's work to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Managing the daily operations of the accounting department.
- Delivering excellent customer service by promptly addressing clients' requests and inquiries.
- Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
- University degree in accounting, or ACCA or ACA qualified.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a client accounting role.
- Ability to manage, inspire, mentor, and supervise a team to meet tight deadlines.
- Thorough knowledge of IFRS and GAPSME reporting standards, as well as the Income Tax Act and the Value Added Tax Act.
- Excellent at prioritizing and delivering within tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of taxation and/or liquidations is an advantage.
