Our client, a well-established retail company in Malta, is looking to expand their finance team with the addition of an Accountants Clerk. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a well-established firm and contribute to its continued success.
Responsibilities
- Processing invoices in accounting system.
- Preparing and processing payments to suppliers.
- Liaising with vendors and preparing vendor reconciliations.
- Managing aged receivables.
- Processing delivery notes.
- Inputting of bank entries.
- Cash reconciliations.
- Assisting with month end related tasks, such as reconciliations and uploading of journals.
- Maintaining databases.
- Filing documents.
Requirements
- A team player, but able to work independently
- Have an eye for detail, be organized and efficient
- Be IT literate
- Will enjoy working in a friendly and exciting environment
- Basic knowledge of Accounts would be considered an asset
- Be flexible to work in any new opened stores situated in various areas of Malta as needed
- Work flexible hours daily, including occasional Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
