AIMS International is assisting one of our clients, a CSP with recruiting a Senior Advisor - Transaction Advisory Services.

The Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team provides a broad range of advisory services to clients and the Senior Advisor must be capable of handling assignments which would interface with client management, financiers, auditors and other professionals; know when to seek advice from colleagues, managers and partners and demonstrate analytical skills and judgment. 

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrating knowledge of various industries and assessing which key performance indicators apply to each industry, then using them to understand and analyze the client’s needs.
  • Undertaking assignments in various areas of corporate finance, including company valuations, IFRS reporting, debt advisory, and financial due diligence.
  • Modeling a comprehensive set of projections that include an income statement, statement of financial position, and cash flow statement.
  • Providing on-the-job training, coaching, and ongoing feedback to interns.
  • Demonstrating expertise in the application of IFRS, particularly new standards, and serving as a reference point for technical advice among peers and subordinates.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues arising in assignments, and discussing them with the manager when necessary.
  • Managing risk-related issues by applying technical knowledge to address them effectively.
  • Completing assignments from start to finish, including issuing letters of engagement, performing know-your-client procedures, compiling financial models, drafting reports, and issuing bills.

Requirements:

  • ACCA qualified or a degree in Accountancy.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a similar role or as part of an audit team.
  • Previous experience in Transaction Advisory.
  • Experience in client-facing work.
  • Extensive experience drafting reports and preparing financial models.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel, with expertise in shortcuts and formulas.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
