AIMS International Malta is thrilled to be working with a our client operating within the financial services industry. They are seeking to strengthen their legal team with the addition of a Lawyer (Financial Services).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a diverse team on transactions involving the establishment and support of financial institutions, covering areas such as digital assets, finance raising, fintech, and innovation.
- Draft, review, and update legal instruments.
- Assist in formulating policies and procedures to meet regulatory requirements.
- Address compliance issues arising from ongoing supervision processes.
- Handle specific regulatory issues as they arise.
- Provide regulatory advice to clients in the financial services industry.
- Engage in conversations and discussions with the client portfolio.
- Formulate solutions to client issues.
- Conduct research in specific areas of law.
- Draft and prepare written deliverables for clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various projects.
- Contribute to articles and content on financial services and related fields.
Requirements:
- university degree in law.
- Possess a warrant to practice law in Malta.
- Have 1 to 2 years of experience in the corporate industry.
- Fluency in written and verbal English; additional languages considered an asset.
