Our client, an independent investment firm based in London with offices across five countries (UK, Sweden, Israel, UAE, and Malta), offers investment management and advisory services to a global clientele. They are experiencing growth and are now seeking to hire a Fund Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Fund Operations and be responsible for the following duties:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of investment funds, including processing transactions and reconciling trades.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies related to fund operations.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting fund activities, such as financial statements, investor updates, and regulatory submissions.
- Create reports to support decision-making processes.
- Monitor and evaluate risks associated with fund operations, including market, liquidity, and operational risks.
- Act as the primary contact for investors, including global banks, pension funds, insurance companies, and family offices, responding to inquiries and providing accurate information about fund performance.
Qualifications:
- A Degree/Diploma in Economics, Banking & Finance, or Business is preferred.
- While 1-2 years of experience in a similar administrative role is advantageous, recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of the asset management sector.
- Highly organized and professional.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to challenge existing processes and controls.
- Excellent command of the English language.
