Our client, a well-known and respected Corporate Service Provider in Malta, is currently looking to recruit a Corporate Lawyer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on a range of corporate matters, including company formation, compliance, and governance.
- Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements with precision and clarity.
- Conduct thorough legal research and remain informed on updates to Maltese corporate laws.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure business operations comply with legal requirements.
- Advise clients on the legal implications and potential risks of business decisions.
- Maintain company registers (e.g., directors' lists, shareholders' lists, BO Register).
- Prepare and submit statutory filings and corporate documents, fulfilling obligations required by the Malta Business Registry and MFSA.
- Represent clients in negotiations, meetings, and other legal proceedings as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to the formulation of legal strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law; a Master’s degree or specialization in Corporate Law is preferred.
- Qualified lawyer with a valid warrant to practice in Malta.
- Proven experience as a Corporate Lawyer, ideally within a corporate service provider.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Maltese corporate laws and regulations.
- Strong skills in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
