Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing, supervising, and reviewing enforcement measures and team performance.
- Oversee the implementation of directives issued to subject persons.
- Coordinate resources to maximize team efficiency.
- Ensure team members receive adequate training, guidance, and leadership.
- Monitor, follow up, and assess team operations, identifying areas for improvement.
- Participate in Compliance Monitoring Committees as necessary.
- Prepare and assist in court file preparation as needed.
- Keep superiors updated on team activities and progress.
- Plan team operations to align with section priorities and targets.
- Review and maintain Enforcement Section policies, procedures, and database.
- Provide AML training and public awareness.
- Liaise with local and foreign supervisory authorities on enforcement matters.
- Conduct performance appraisals and one-to-one meetings with team members.
- Advise senior management and relevant stakeholders on enforcement-related matters.
- Represent the organization in international for a when required.
- Fulfill any other duties assigned by senior management.
Requirements:
- MQF Level 6 qualification in Law, Accounting, Audit, Banking & Finance, Financial Services, Insurance, or Economics.
- 5 Years relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of anti-money laundering, counter-terrorism financing laws, EU Directives, and related domestic legislation.
- Familiarity with financial services and banking sector operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Maltese and English.
- Proven technical competence, efficiency, ethical responsibility, and diligence.
