Our client, a reputable Corporate Service Provider firm in Malta, is looking to expand their finance team with the addition of an Accounts Executive. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company and contribute to its continued success.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately post sales invoices and ensure financial records are up to date.
- Manage aged debt reports and actively follow up on outstanding debtors.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management review.
- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash flow tracking.
- Process client invoices and maintain accurate financial records.
- Post bank and petty cash statements and conduct reconciliations.
- Follow up with clients to ensure timely payments.
- Assist with client month-end reporting and reconciliation tasks.
- Manage client VAT returns and ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Act as a key point of contact for client financial queries.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of local experience in accounts or bookkeeping.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, including invoicing and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Xero and Shireburn would be considered an asset.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising effectively with both internal teams and clients.
- Proficient in English, Maltese is considered an asset.
